Arequipa | Chivay | La Calera
On the first day the tour starts from Arequipa, we pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. and we will depart from Arequipa at 8:30 a.m. On the way we will skirt the Chachani Volcano, Pampa Cañahuas where the National Reserve is located. Salinas and Aguada Blanca, we will make a stop and you will be able to observe the vicuñas in their natural environment. We continue until we reach the Mirador de los Volcanes at 4,800 meters above sea level and we will arrive in Chivay after 45 minutes. We will have lunch and you will be able to taste regional and local dishes. Then we will pick you up at your hotel at approximately 3:00 pm to take you to see the thermal baths of La Calera and you can enjoy the thermal pools (between 35°C and 38°C) – optional. Returning to the hotel at night you will have a typical dinner accompanied by a folkloric show.
Chivay | Colca Canyon | Arequipa
On the second day, the tour begins after breakfast at 5:30 a.m. We leave for the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world, where the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor is located, where you can observe the spectacular flight of the condor, we will make stops to visit the beautiful colonial churches as well as the viewpoint of Antahuilque and Choquetico from where you can see the tombs, pre-Inca models and its impressive terraces of the beautiful landscape of the Colca Valley. We will arrive in Chivay at approximately 12:00 pm, we will stop for lunch and continue the trip to Arequipa to arrive at 5:00 pm.
