Sillustani is an archaeological complex surrounded by Lake Umayo, famous for its impressive tombs known as “Chullpas.” These inverted cone-shaped structures reach up to six meters in height. This mystical site reflects the belief that life continues after death, a feeling that can be sensed in its unique atmosphere. Beyond its historical significance, Sillustani offers a direct connection with local communities, where residents open their doors to share their way of life.
