Between 100 BC and 300 AD, The Pucará culture was developing   along the north western shore of Lake Titicaca. To get Pucara town by car take a hour and 45 minutes away. Its constructions are characteristic of the Andean towns that fulfilled the function of protecting the villages in the style of a fort or fortress, built with stones composed of walls with subdivisions for housing, storage and others, with techniques that ensured intensive agriculture, with notable astronomical, architectural and hydraulic knowledge. Known for the famous “Toritos de Pucará”.

Lampa is known as the Pink City of the 7 Wonders, among them the visit to the Church of Santiago Apóstol stands out, the replica of “La Piedad” famous work of Michelangelo, at the end of the visit, We will continue our trip to the Tinajani Canyon which is located at 3953 m.a.s.l.  is formed by three large ravines: Queñuacuyo, Pacobamba and Huhuarachi, where you can see huge rocks with different shapes

7:00am We pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the port of Puno, we will embark with direction to the island of the Uros where you can learn the customs and traditions of this impressive island then we will go to Llachon, upon arrival we will take you to the family local who will provide the accommodation. After lunch you can enjoy a cultural demonstration of traditional weaving techniques by the artisans of Llachon.

At the end of the demonstration we will make a gentle walk to the Qeskapa  viewpoint, this walk will last approximately 30 minutes, when you are in the viewpoint you can enjoy the sunset in our immense and beautiful Lake. In the evening you will receive your dinner prepared based on traditional foods of the area.

You will often find children asking for tips, please do not give money them unless you buy some survenir that they make. In addition give them candies or sweets are not recommended, consuming this needs oral care that is not available on the island (due to the circumstances). The medical posts service has an irregular attention schedule.

The walks on the tour are of medium difficulty, however if you suffer from cardiovascular diseases please mention it at the time of booking.
