To get to know the Colca Canyon in one day, if possible. The visit to this Canyon considered one of the deepest in the world begins at 2:30 am, when we pick you up from your hotel and then leave for Chivay, the trip lasts approximately three hours. On the way, we will pass through the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve, where we can see our beautiful camelids such as the Vicuña and appreciate the variety of migratory birds such as flamingos. Upon arrival in Chivay, we will have breakfast and then continue our adventure towards the Mirador la Cruz del Cóndor, a strategic point to observe the spectacular flight of the Condor and have a view of the Canyon in all its fullness. On the way back to Chivay we will stop at the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, which have beautiful colonial churches. We will pass through the Choquetico and Antahuilque viewpoints to observe the impressive terraces of the valley, the tombs and pre-Inca models carved in stone. On the way, we will find the thermal baths of La Calera and to enjoy its thermal medicinal waters we will have a one-hour stay, and then continue our trip to Chivay, arriving in Chivay we will have lunch. Finally we will return to the city of Arequipa, on the way we will make a stop at the Mirador de los Volcanes (4,800 m.a.s.l.) to appreciate the Cordillera Occidental. We will be arriving in Arequipa at approximately 6pm.
